Amazing Budget Tours in Rwanda

February 6, 2022by admin0 comments

With Rwanda Budget tours you have room for absolute bargaining which is a satisfying way for travelers on a very tight plan. Offering you a discount off your tour value is something which many of us f need every time we make a trip inquiry to a travel expert.. Rwanda tour agents have special offers released according to the client need and interest. So you just need to speak out your mind as you plan your adventure of a life time.

As you know Rwanda is one of the world most visited destination in Africa with thousands of visitors every year with a main interest of gorilla tracking, birding, cultural and beach holidays. Not guests to the country are wealthy so it’s the reason as to why travel experts offer cheap affordable prices, mega discounts and also arrange group tours in order to cater for the needs of those Budget travels or Backpacker tourists to the country.

Gorilla tracking is always the main highlight of any safari to Rwanda but if you going to visit more than one country in East Africa to see huge and impressive wildlife which grab your a tension as you drive slowly in 4×4 WD Safari vehicle, spotting lions, elephant, rhino, leopard and giraffe makes you feel like you’re inside a nature documentary, then add Masai Mara game reserve, Queen Elizabeth, Murchison falls, Kidepo national park, Serengeti and Ngorogoro plains, Amboseli among others on your bucket list. However interesting budget safari tours in Rwanda include the following.

The shortest Gorilla tracking tour in Rwanda

While in Rwanda this is the most affordable gorilla tour to volcanoes National park. people who take on this tour always save a lot on transport, accommodation and time. Where other tourists pay for 2 or 3 days for them they only pay for a day a get the same memorable experience with the Gorillas. All you have to do is to book your gorilla permit in advance and pick it the day you get to Rwanda, arrange for transport to the park for just a day and also spend a night before tracking in a place close to the park. If you spend a night in Musanze town it’s just a few kilometers to the park head quarters however, if you spend a night in Kigali, you need to leave Kigali as early as 5.00am local Rwanda time in order to be at the park headquarters of kinigi in time. Sometimes waking up earlier is hard for some guest that’s why I advise you to sleep close to the park.

The Briefing for the gorilla trackers begins ` at 7.30am -8.30am and vehicles begin transporting gorilla trackers to several gorilla trek starting points. Amusingly in Rwanda unlike Uganda, guests are allocated a gorilla family on the very day of tracking. The guests who feel physically weak are allocated the nearest groups that only require at least an hour to find then so no need to worry about your fitness. Make sure you carry enough drinking water, packed lunch & a potter to help you carry the bag that is if you feel you need one. After the trek return back to your lodge or Kigali which will mark the end of your Gorilla trek in Rwanda.

3 Days Gorilla Trekking mission in Volcanoes National park

This trip enables guests to be part of several tourist activities that is the Kigali city tour, golden monkey trek, birding, boat ride on the twin lake of Ruhondo & Burera, culture entertainments by locals Gorilla tracking and a visit to Dainy fossey memorial centre. Here still you will need to book your Gorilla permit in advance bit for the low season of April, May or November or high season of December- march & June – September every year. There are 80 gorilla permits available for trackers every day & this number varies only when some of these Gorilla groups cross over to the Virungas in DR Congo .Gorilla families include Sabyinyo Group (led by the most massive silverback in the Volcanoes national park called Guhonda, is normally the first one to be spotted by trackers), Amahoro Gorilla (the more strenuous group to access lead by a calm silver back called Ubumwe ), Umubano Gorilla ( split from Amahoro group after the leading silverback being challenged by Charles the present leading silverback of Umubano), Susa Group(the group has the largest number of gorillas lead by three silver backs with exceptional twins, Byishimo and Impano .This makes the group a dream for every visitor though some miss out) , Kwitonda Gorilla group(migrated from DR Congo under the leadership of kwitonda silver back ), Hirwa Gorilla (was a result of the members from Group 13 and Sabinyo) etc.All the Budget lodges in Rwanda offer excellent services which make the trip fantastic as they brings in the open the Natural beauty of Rwanda making visitors to appreciating the level of service and commitment in every place they visit.

Chimpanzee tracking in Nyungwe forest

The 3 day Rwanda primate’s safari starts and ends in Kigali with a main emphasis on what the Nyungwe forest jungle has to offer to its guests. The massive concentration of primates to over 13 species, Rich Bird life mounting to 300 species, butterflies, orchids and the New Canopy walk adventure which make guest view most of the park attractions during a simple forest walk.

The forest attract many primate and bird lovers year round to view their favorites like Hamlyn’s Monkey, Red-tailed Monkey, Dent’s Mona Monkey, Olive Baboon, Grey-cheeked Mangabeys, chimpanzees, L’Hoest’s monkey, golden monkeys, large troops of the Angola Colobus, vervet monkeys, Silver Monkey, the great blue Turaco, the Rwenzori Turaco, paradise flycatcher, a long-tailed blue, orange and white bird, and the forest hornbills among others.

While here Accommodation is plenty and all Nyungwe forest lodges are built to blend with the surrounding environment of the tea plantation and are all found on the edge of tea plantation with good facilities like Air conditioning, Private mini bar, Tea and coffee making facilities, Hairdryer, Private deck, En-suite bathroom with indoor shower, International dial telephones, Digital satellite TV and Wireless Internet access and afire place to give guests company as they chill outside.A safari to Nyungwe forest will expose you to excellent birding & primate experience leaving you with lots of photos and stories to be shared over cocktails when you return home.
